Appointment Booking Cancellation Policy


At MAA (Make An Appointment), we understand that plans can change, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure a smooth experience for both patients and doctors, we have outlined our Cancellation Policy below:

1. Cancellation Process
   - Patients can cancel their appointment through the makeappointment.ai.in or by contacting our Non-Tech Support Team.
   - Cancellation requests should be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time to avoid inconvenience to the doctor and other patients.

2. Rescheduling Appointments
   - If you wish to reschedule your appointment, you may do so through the platform, subject to doctor availability.
   - Rescheduling is allowed up to 4 hours before the original appointment time.


3. Doctor-Initiated Cancellations
   - In rare cases, if a doctor needs to cancel an appointment due to an emergency, our team will notify the patient immediately and assist with rescheduling

4. Refund Policy (Applicable only if Service Provider Cancelled appointments from their end)
   - Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7 working days, as per the terms set by the respective doctor, clinic, or hospital.
   - Refund eligibility may vary based on the cancellation timing and individual clinic/hospital policies.

5. No-Show Policy 
   - If a patient fails to attend the appointment without prior cancellation, it may be considered a no-show, and any booking fee (if applicable) may not be refunded.

6. Policy Updates
   - MAA reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through our platform.
